IPTICAR as a catalyst for the internationalization of scientific research & innovation at the Renewable Energy Development Center (CDER)

As part of the Internationalization Program of the Innovation and Research Capacities (IPTICAR), led by the Directorate of Cooperation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Algeria,

The Renewable Energy Development Center (CDER) in Bouzaréah hosted, on Sunday, April 19, 2026, Dr. Samira Chader, Assistant Director of Cooperation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) and IPTICAR Project Coordinator, accompanied by Mr. Kévin DEL VECCHIO, the project coordinator representing the European partner.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department of External Relations and Research Valorization at the center, Mr. Kamel Abdeladhim, the coordinator of the Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC_CDER), Mr. Bahout Salim, and the representative of the center’s incubator (INCUBTECH_CDER), Mr. Kharrat Mohamed.

This meeting falls within the framework of capacity-building initiatives in higher education, aiming to strengthen institutional capacities in international cooperation.

Discussions focused on presenting the project’s objectives and its various dimensions, followed by a detailed presentation by the center’s representatives on the current status of organizational structures and the outcomes of activities related to departements and units linked to innovation and research valorization. along with discussions on enhancing their performance through the identification of needs and improvement areas, with the goal of achieving greater integration into the global research landscape.
