Commissioning of the photovoltaic inverter efficiency testing laboratory – IEC 61683
The Center for Renewable Energy Development (CDER) announces the commissioning of its laboratory for performance and efficiency testing of grid-connected photovoltaic inverters, established within the Photovoltaic Technology Platform (PVTP) – INV-PV Laboratory.
This laboratory conducts technical tests in accordance with the requirements of international standard IEC 61683, as part of the INV-PV laboratory‘s quality management system.
Scope of Application
The tests include:
Measurement of photovoltaic inverter efficiency,
Measurement of no-load and standby losses,
Establishment of efficiency curves,
Calculation of weighted and energy efficiencies, in accordance with the methodology defined by IEC 61683.
Performance analysis of inverters
The results are documented in traceable technical test reports, specifying the conditions and limitations of the tests performed.
Target Audience
This service is intended for manufacturers, importers, EPC contractors, engineering firms, and other stakeholders in the photovoltaic sector who wish to:
Qualify and compare the performance of their equipment ; Secure the technical choices for their projects ; Obtain reliable, documented, and actionable test results.
Opening of Test Request Submissions:
The INV-PV Laboratory announces that it is now accepting test requests.
All requests must be submitted using the Test Request Form (TRF), available in both French and English, and sent exclusively via electronic submission.
