The Ambassador of the United States of America in Algeria, John P. Desrocher, went to the research unit in renewable energies in the Saharan Area (URER-MS / CDER) of Adrar on December 12, 2018, where he was received by the Director of CDER, Prof. Nouredidine Yassaa, Director of the URER-MS, Dr. Mohamed Sadok and by all the officials of the Unit. The ambassador asked about the efforts made by the unit’s researchers and the ongoing partnerships with their American counterparts in the field of renewable energy. He has shown great interest in the various research products developed by the unit’s researchers, particularly with regard to the adaptation of technologies to the Saharan Area.
