EPST Renewable Energies Development Center won the First Prize for Innovation at the 8th edition of the National Innovation Fair organized by the Algerian Institute of Industrial Properties (INAPI) in partnership with the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB) from December 4 to 6, 2018.

This distinction was the fruit of research by the eminent researcher of the Research Unit in Renewable Energies in Sararian Area (URERMS) affiliated to the EPST CDER, Mr. Harmim for having presented his patented invention "Solar water heater device storage sensor to be integrated into the building, the latter is designed for integration into the building in the Saharan Area. "

This device could be of great importance for energy efficiency in building on a national scale in general and in the cities of the Sahara of Algeria in particular.
