The Renewable Energy Development Center (CDER) launched the start of the competition for the creation of renewable energy startups.
The Renewable Energy Development Center launched the start of the DZ Clean Energy Challenge Days Competition Today Thursday, November 29, 2018 at its Solar Equipment Development Unit UDES / Bou Ismail. This Competition dedicated to young people with innovative ideas in the field of renewable energy and its applications.
This three-day competition saw the participation of 17 project holders from all over Algeria on various themes such as solar energy, smart solutions, environmental protection and agriculture.
The official inauguration of this day was given by Mr. Mokhtar Sellami, Director of Research at the General Direction of Scientific Research and Technological Development in the presence of Pr. Noureddine Yassaa, Director of CDER, Dr. Belkacem Bouzidi, Director of the Solar Equipment Development Unit, Mr. Adjroune Imad Eddine, representative of Inapi, Mr. Taibi Mohamed, Director of AEC, Mr. Sinique Karim, Representative of ANVREDET, representatives of research centers, manufacturers as well as heads of CDER departments and candidates.
A presentation entitled "What is the DZ Clean Energy Challenge? Was given by Dr. E. Kouadri-Boudjalthia, where he explained to the participants all the stages of the competition, the evaluation of projects….
The candidates, whose age range varies between 19 and 44 years presented their ideas, projects before the juries, the latter selected eight projects dealing with the following themes:
Proper tech
Design of a window with curtain shutter solar water heater
Smart contain
Smart light
Digi bank
Smart floor
Connected inverter platform for control
Tech-energy biomass kit
During the three days of the challenge, the holders of these projects will follow, coaching which will be provided by a dozen experts in various fields related to the creation of companies (legal, finance, protection by patent of invention, market study ...).
On the sidelines of the Dz Clean Enegry Challenge Days event, the CDER will sign a partnership agreement with ANVREDET on Saturday 01 December 2018. The main objective of the agreement is to enhance the results of research and technological development, support in intellectual matters as well as support for project holders at the incubation stage, in particular the themes dedicated to the development of renewable energies.
