CDER took part in the National Conference on Sustainable Consumption and Production Modes
As part of the European SWITCHMED program and the United Nations Environment Program, the National Conference on Sustainable Production and Consumption Modes was held on November 05, 2018 in the presence of the Minister of the Environment and Renewable Energy and the Ambassador and the head of the European Union delegation in Algeria.
The purpose of this conference was to identify and share good practices and new initiatives on this theme, and in particular in:
Resource efficient and cleaner production,
Corporate responsibility for its entire value chain and the product life cycle,
Green and circular economy initiatives,
Citizen initiatives in the field of waste management and improvement of the living environment,
Energy efficiency initiatives and use of renewable energy at all levels.
The Director of CDER, Prof. Noureddine Yassaa, participated in the first panel: Panel 1: sharing of experiences and good business practices in the field and of eco-responsible commitment and resource efficient and cleaner production, presenting the actions of CDER in development of the use of renewable energies and the promotion of energy efficiency in all sectors.
