The Renewable Energy Development Center started the competition on renewable energies "Scout Olympiad" organized in partnership with the Algerian Muslim Scouts at its headquarters in Bouzareah.

The scout girls, coming from different wilaya of the country, were welcomed on Wednesday October 31, 2018 by the organizers as well as the Director of the CDER, Pr Noureddine Yassaa.

Short presentations were given by CDER researchers:

Dr Semaoui Smail, Dr Akbi Amine, Dr Belabes Belkacem, Mr Hazmoune Messaoud, Mr Guernouti Karim and Mr Mehareb Fateh.

The smart geothermal prototype that encompasses different types of renewable energy was presented to introduce participants to the next review on November 1, 2018.
