Young EPST CDER researchers honored on the occasion of the President of the Republic Prize for the Green City
Two young EPST researchers, Madame Fatiha Chékired-Chikhi, Research Master B at UDES / CDER and Mr. Oussama Touaba, Research Engineer at URER-MS / CDER, were honored during the ceremony organized Thursday October 25, 2018 on the occasion of the President of the Republic Prize for the Green City, in the presence of several ministers and a number of officials including the Wali of Algiers.
During this ceremony which coincides with the national tree day and on the eve of the celebration of the international day of cities, the city of Setif was elected, Green City by the price of the president of the Republic, rewarding the cities having devoted the most development of green spaces to the benefits of citizens. This while the cities of Tlemcen and Médéa had the second and third prizes respectively. The jury price was awarded to the Wilaya of Adrar and that of the citizenship of the green city was given to the association "Amidol", from the wilaya of Ghardaïa, for its successful preservation operation of "Ksar Tafilat" .
