The Renewable Energy Development Center participated in the national meeting organized by the Ministry of the Interior, Local Government and Territory Planning on "The planning and development of border areas, a national priority", the October 13 and 14, 2018 at the International Convention Center (CIC).

The event was characterized by conferences presented by eight government ministers on actions and programs for the development of border wilayas.

The CDER stand was present in the exhibition hall through prototypes produced at its headquarters, at the Solar Equipment Development Unit in Bou Ismail, as well as products offered by its commercial subsidiary ER2 as follows:

 Charge and discharge regulator for battery,
 Mobile solar medical preservative with cold accumulation,
 Lighting pylon (all in one) with integrated lithium batteries.

Four Walis from border wilayas visited the CDER stand and took an interest in the lighting pylon presented by the ER2 as well as in the other prototypes proposed by EPST CDER researchers.
