The Renewable Energies Development Center was present at Safex, Pins Maritimes, to participate in the National Industrial Waste Recovery and Valuation organized by the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the National Waste (AND) Agency which will be held from October 8 to 11, 2018.

The event was inaugurated by the Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy Ms. Fatma Zohra Zerouati in the presence of the Chinese Ambassador as well as officials from the Ministry, the Chamber of Commerce and the AND.

This fair organized under the patronage of the Minister of the Environment and Renewable Energy is an opportunity to present the activities of CDER in the field of bioenergy with its different forms (bioalcohol, biodiesel, biogas and algae) as well as the treatment of waters using biopolymers or solar radiation, explain to visitors the aforementioned processes, do Bi-to-Bi sessions with Algerian and foreign industrialists and participate in debates and round tables in the audiovisual media.

The CDER presented a new product developed by researchers from the Solar Equipment Development Unit, resulting from the recovery of paper and cardboard waste which are not recyclable, so that it can be used in the building sector as thermal and phonic insulating.
