This meeting saw the participation of 16 Arab countries as well as Turkie and the United States as guests of honor, with the presence of more than 1000 scouts.
The event was an opportunity to explain to children the renewable energy capacities in Algeria and in the Arab countries and to sensitize them on the importance of saving energy and protecting the environment.
Several stands were present at this event in addition to that of CDER such as that of the Ministry of the Environment and Renewable Energies, national security, firefighters, health, clubs and associations interested in the field of astronomy...
The CDER stand was equipped with renewable energy deposit cards (solar, wind, geothermal and bioenergy), as well as an educational prototype on renewable energies which enabled children to see up close the transformation of solar energy or wind power into electricity.
