Home > COMMUNICATION > News > The Renewable Energy Development Center (CDER) installs photovoltaic solar tables in two beaches in the Wilaya of Tipaza.

The CDER proceeded to install 4 solar photovoltaic tables in the beaches of Colonel Abbas and Chenoua in the Wilaya of Tipaza. These tables were ordered by the Wilaya of Tipaza, following a visit by Mr. Wali Moussa Ghelai to the Solar Equipment Development Unit (UDES).

The prototype developed by young CDER engineers in 2017 is equipped with two photovoltaic modules which electrically power the table and also serve as a parasol for users. The electricity generated by the solar panels feeds USB sockets for recharging smartphones or other devices, as well as the 220 V sockets for other uses. The table is also equipped with spotlights for night use.
