The CDER participates in the National Seminar on Applied Quality and Metrology to Renewable Energies for Sustainable Agriculture Development.
The Renewable Energies Development Center participated in the national seminar under the theme "Quality and Metrology Applied to Renewable Energies for a Sustainable Development of Agriculture", organized by the Higher National Agronomic School ENSA ex Ina, on June 20 and 21 2018 at its headquarters.
This seminar was held in the framework of Afreqen, a European project to contribute to the development of access to energy, energy independence, preserve the environment and promote the use of renewable energies by applying the concept of metrology.
This event brought together national and international experts, professionals, students as well as researchers and teachers working in the field of agronomy and renewable energies to share their ideas and approaches.
The official opening of the seminar was given by Pr. In his speech Mr. Lakhdar, Khelifi Director of the ENSA hoped that this event would help to raise awareness for a more sensitized public and also have a more effective collaboration between the most influential actors of civil society.
The CDER actively participated in this event by an exhibition stand in which it exposed its research activities as well as the prototypes in the field of renewable energies which have a direct link with agriculture:
Solar deposit card,
Wind field map,
Map of solar thermal and geothermal deposits,
Map of biomass potential,
A solar dryer,
Banner on the anaerobic digester for the production of biogas from fermentable organic waste,
Banner on the biopile.
Several conferences and presentations were given by national and international experts, CDER researchers were also present at the conference cycles by the presentation of Dr Bouzidi Belkacem on renewable energies in Algeria, Dr Sadek Igoud researcher at UDES on renewable energies and the reuse of treated wastewater to ensure the availability and quality of irrigation water, Dr. Saber Meriem, speaking of the production of biogas from agricultural waste, Mr. Ammouri Mohammed, on life cycle assessment of micro algal derived biodiesel as well as two posters exhibited by Dr Allouche Fella Nawel on water treatment and Mr Merabet Hamza on air pollution.
