The Renewable Energy Applied Research Unit of the Renewable Energy Development Center participated in the World Environment Day which was held at the Ghardaïa Environment House on June 5, 2018 under the theme "fight against plastic ".

This participation was manifested by the exhibition of photovoltaic and thermal prototypes as well as the presentation of the various posters illustrating the main achievements made by researchers of the unit. In parallel to this exhibition, a round table was animaed in collaboration with local radio and representatives of environmental protection associations and local administrations.
