The CDER took part in the meeting organized by the Ministry of the Interior, Local Communities and Regional Planning on Saturday June 2, 2018 at the International Congress Center (CIC) Abdelatif Rahal of Algiers on "Local communities at the heart of the energy transition, opportunities and challenges ”.

With more than 700 participants and in the presence of the Minister of the Interior, Local Collectivities and Territorial Planning, the Minister of the Environment and Renewable Energy and the Secretary General, Representative of the Minister of Energy, the Director of CDER, Prof. Noureddine Yassaa, exposed the experience of CDER in the deployment of renewable energies at the level of local communities and new technological solutions developed by CDER researchers and adapted to local communities and ended his presentation with a series of recommendations for a transition successful energy at the local level.
