On Monday, May 7, 2018 at 5 pm, the Research Unit for Renewable Energies in the Saharan Medium (URER / MS) had the privilege of welcoming, at its headquarters, the Minister of the Environment and Renewable Energies who was making an official visit to the Wilaya of Adrar from the 5th to the 7th of this month.

Accompanied by the Wali and PAPW and a large delegation, the Minister was received by the Director and Heads of Unit.

This visit was, for the researchers of the unit, an opportunity to expose their prototypes and research products and to give some explanations to the Minister on the work undertaken in various applications related to renewable energies (solar distillation, solar cooking , solar drying, development of wind turbines, production of biogas and biodiesel, recovery of waste, etc.).

The Minister showed satisfaction with the efforts made by the researchers of the Unit while wishing to establish strong links with the socio-economic sector for the industrialization of the exposed products.
