The Renewable Energy Development Center (CDER) organized, in collaboration with the Thematic Research Agency for Science and Technology (ATRST), an information day on the Horizon 2020 program at the Solar Equipment Development Unit (UDES) 21 and 22 March 2018 in Bousmail, Tipaza.

This event is part of the capacity development of Algerian institutions of higher education and research centers to strengthen their participation in calls for European research and innovation projects.

The info day brought together nearly 150 participants, among others, representatives of the Directorate General of Scientific Research and Technological Development (DGRSDT), the national points of contact (NCP), the members of the project pilot cells COMPERE Averroès as well as professors and researchers from different universities and research centers.

The opening remarks were given by Professor Noureddine YASSAA, Director of the CDER, followed by Mr KHECHNI Karim, representative of the cooperation and interuniversity exchanges of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) and the Professor SELLAMI Mokhtar, Director of Technological Development and Innovation of DGRSDT / MESRS.

The information day was moderated by Mrs. Virginia BELSANTI, an expert representative of the European Commission. The training program focused on the key actions of the H2020 program, the 2018-2020 calls for projects, the choice of partners and the formation of a consortium, the drafting and submission of a proposal, the preparation of the budget as well as the project proposal evaluation system.
