The CDER actively participates in the international exhibition of electricity and renewable energies, Algiers from February 12 to 15, 2018

The Renewable Energies Development Center took part in the International Exhibition of Electricity and Renewable Energies "SEER", organized by AD VISION EL DJAZAIR, and held at the Palais des Expositions - SAFEX - Algiers from 12 to 15 February 2018.

This event is part of the strategy to strengthen the exchange between national and international organizations to support businesses and the energy industry in Algeria.

The fair brought together nearly 80 exhibitors and 10,000 to 12,000 visitors as it is the first international trade event in Algeria dedicated exclusively to the electricity and renewable energy industries. The aim of the show is to create a meeting place between the various actors in the field of renewable energies and electricity (researchers, suppliers, users and others), and develop a development strategy with two aspects (technical and commercial).

The participation of the CDER was through a stand where he presented his various missions such as the implementation of research and scientific and technological development programs, as well as energy systems exploiting solar, wind and geothermal energy as well as the energy of biomass. The Center also oversees the deployment and integration of several national projects and pilot projects through its ER2 commercial subsidiary.

The researchers of the center were very interactive with the visitors of the show, by presenting the exploitation advantages of alternative energies and the research carried out within EPST CDER, and exchanging their experiences and knowledge in the fields of renewable energy development with other national and international actors in the green energy sector.

During the four days of the event, different themes were discussed concerning renewable energies, energy efficiency, smart grids, development of cities of the future and others.

The CDER also participated in a conference given by Dr. Nachida Kasbadji Merzouk on the "Current Situation and Prospects for the Evolution of Renewable Energies in Algeria".
