The CDER will take part in the SIMA-SIPSA Livestock and Agro-Equipment Fair organized under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, which will take place from 10 to 13 October 2017, at the Exhibitions Center, Safex, Maritime Pines, Algiers.

The participation of the CDER will be in strength with prototypes that provide solutions to the concerns of the agriculture sector, namely:

• A solar dryer for fruits, vegetables and garbage,
• A solar pumping system for irrigation,
• A digester for the production of biogas from fermentable agricultural waste.

During this forum foreseen during this event, there will be a participation of three speakers of the CDER:

• Dr Meryem SABER: Energy autonomy and sustainable development for farms and agribusiness.

• Dr Rabah SELLAMI: Contribution of solar drying to the development of agriculture and the agro-food sector in Algeria.

• Dr Yahia Bakelli: Solar pumping for the promotion of Saharan agriculture.
