On the morning of Tuesday, 19 September 2017, the Wali of the Wilaya of Adrar visited the headquarters of the Research Unit for Renewable Energies in the Saharan Medium in Adrar, affiliated to the EPST Renewable Energy Development Center CDER for a work and inspection visit.

The Wali visited the various stands where prototypes made at the Unit were exhibited.

For example, the Solar Cooker that allowed to taste a cooked chicken thanks to the solar energy, the Biodiesel Production System from used oils, the 28 KW photovoltaic station designed as part of the cooperation program for the Development with the Republic of Korea, for the year 2016, the photovoltaic pumping system, the DCTT laboratory and a 2.5 kW H-DARRIEUS vertical axis wind turbine.

The Wali welcomed the different activities of the unit and asked the researchers to persevere them.
