The Renewable Energy Development Center wins a COMPERE certificate of competences in assembly and management of European projects
In the framework of the COMPERE-Averroès project (COMpétence European Projects REseau Averroès) a certification of the pilot cells involving external specialized experts from Europe and the Maghreb was carried out at the end of the project in May 2017.
The certification attests to the competences acquired by the staff of the pilot sites, it is based on the competency reference & the training plan; it also evaluates the functioning of the pilot cells and their influence.

According to the experts’ report presented at the closing meeting of project in early June 2017, the "COMPERE Competence Certificate" can be issued collectively to each Algerian pilot cell with congratulations. According to the same report, the CDER cell has a high level of organizational learning.
The COMPERE-Averroès project is a regional structural project financed by the European Commission’s TEMPUS program for a period of three years. The overall objective of this project is to transfer the necessary skills to universities and research organizations in the Maghreb region (Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia) so that they can be more present as coordinators or partners in European cooperation projects and research 2014-2020.

The project is built around the creation of "cells of expertise for the assembly and management of European projects" constituted in each pilot establishment and in the three ministries of higher education of each Maghreb country.
The COMPERE project aims to demonstrate that these skills are transferable, in a North-South sense, based on an experienced European partnership and then, in the second phase of the South-South project, by enabling the pilot universities to transfer the acquired skills to the other agencies in their region.
