The Renewable Energy Development Center participated in the 10th edition of the National Meeting of the Young Scientist and the Young Inventor held at the Mouloud Mammeri Cultural Center in Tizi Ouzou (Algeria) from 03 to 06 July 2017. This meeting was organized under the patronage of the Minister of Youth and Sport as well as the Wali of the Wilaya of Tizi Ouzou.

The event was attended by associations of 48 Wilayas and an association from Tunisia with the presence of other national institutions such as the National Waste Agency (AND) and the Society of Water and Sanitation of Algiers (SEAAL).

The CDER was present to present its experience and the prototypes designed by its researchers to make the production and consumption of renewable energies more reliable and clean in a safe environment for the local population of Tizi Ouzou, officials and participants of the 48 Wilayas.

The CDER presented a stand made up of 5 prototypes:

 Bioreactor for the Energy valorization of biomass,
 The biopile with microbial cell plant,
 Solar Combined Heating and Hot Water Production System,
 Folding Mobile Photovoltaic Panel with Battery,
 An education system combining different renewable energies.

The General Secretary of the Wilaya of Tizi Ouzou Mr. Tibourtine opened the 10th edition of the National Meeting of the Young Scientist. Mr Tirbourtine visited the CDER stand and inquired about the Center’s activities in the field of renewable energies.

Conferences on environment and climate change were presented by experts in the field.
