The CDER celebrates the Summer Solstice Day 2017 Wednesday - 21 June 2017 - at its headquarters in Bouzaréah
On the occasion of the summer solstice of 2017, the Renewable Energy Development Center (CDER) is organizing a ceremony for the promotion of scientific and technological production on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at its headquarters in Bouzaréah. The ceremony will be an opportunity, as tradition has it, to honor the best scientific productions and achievements at national level.
The prize for the summer solstice 2017 of technological development will be awarded to five research teams whose projects have resulted in high-level achievements in technological maturity. It is a New Wind Turbine at the URERMS of Adrar, of a Mini solar tower at the URAER of Ghardaia, Medical Conservator solar mobile with accumulation of cold at the UDES in Bouismail. At the CDER, two prototypes arrived ex-aequo in the standings; The autonomous pilot system for the production of biodiesel running by renewable energies of the Bioenergy and Environment Division and the renewable hydrogen blowpipe from the Hydrogen-Renewable Energy Division
The quality prize for scientific production will be awarded to Professor El Madjid BERKOUK of the National Polytechnic School of Algiers for his numerous publications produced during the last five years, notably for the numerous citations of his articles in the databases of scientific data.
From this year onwards a new category of prizes will be introduced and the first will be awarded to an association or institution working in the promotion and deployment of renewable energies. For the summer solstice 2017, the BARIQ21 association, which since 2006 has been working to promote and use renewable energies in the context of sustainable development, will be awarded.
On the occasion of this day, the CDER will inaugurate a research laboratory for the experimental activities of the hydrogen division - Energie Renouvelable.
