Installation of the GC / MS / MS equipment in the Bioenergy and Environment Division of the CDER

From 14 to 18 May 2017, the installation and commissioning of the physicochemical analysis equipment "gas chromatography coupled with double mass spectrometry (GC-MS-MS)" took place In the laboratory of bioenergy and environment division.

An introduction to the use of the equipment was provided by an engineer expert of the supplier, in order to give an overall idea on the equipment with its different compartments and its software.

In this laboratory, GC-MSMS will be used for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the constituent compounds of raw materials and products, for the monitoring of processes involved in bioenergy and environmental research projects.
