Collaboration of the CDER in the organization of the regional seminar on renewable energies with the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government on 14 and 15 May 2017
As part of the implementation of the National Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program for 2030, adopted by the Government in 2015, and as part of its statutory tasks, the Renewable Energy Development Center has collaborated in organization of a regional seminar on 14 and 15 May 2017 on the theme of renewable energies, with the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government.
This event was inaugurated by The Wali of the Wilaya of Ouargla and the Sub-Directors of the Ministry at the National Center for the Training, Improvement and Recycling of Local Government Personnel in the presence of the heads of daïras, secretaries general of daïras and secretaries general of communes of the Wilayas and the Wilayas Delegates of the south. The aim was to show the importance of the role of local authorities in the application and territorial development of renewable energies and energy efficiency.
The seminar, which was held in Ouargla, was attended by active participants from the CDER researchers through conferences on the theme of renewable energies and energy saving. The event provided an opportunity for the evaluation of various mini-projects of some twenty local authority engineers who had already received training on renewable energies provided by the researchers of the CDER, within the framework of the convention established with the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government, on the training of personnel in charge of the promotion of the use of Renewable Energies. The closing of this scientific event was crowned by the handing over of the certificates to the Engineers trained.
