The CDER, in collaboration with Algeria Smart Grid, organized the 1st Workshop on energy quality at the UDES headquarters in Bou-Ismail, Tipaza on 26 April 2017.

The objectives of this workshop are to present the data on the quality of the energy measured at the CDER, the importance of the measurement of energy quality in real time and the recommendations for taking into account the measure the quality of energy injected into the grid in the deployment of the national renewable energy program.

After an opening remarks given by the Deputy Director of the CDER, Dr Said Diaf, in the presence of the Director of UDES, Dr Belkacem Bouzidi, the first conference entitled "Introduction of the Unipower and Power Quality Standards" was presented By Dr. Jonny Carlsson, Managing Director at Unipower and member of the International Committee on the Energy Quality Standard EC 6100O4-30.

A second lecture was given by Mr. Nacer Greffou, President of Algeria Smart Grid on the instrument: UP-2210 and Unilyzer 902. Dr. Salim Bouchakour, Researcher in the Photovoltaic Division, CDER presented the results of the monitoring of the Quality of energy at CDER.

The workshop was an opportunity for the presentation of the standards on the quality of energy: EN 50160; EN-61000 (1; 2; 3; 4); and the Standard for the measurement of energy: EN-61000-4-30.

A debate was led by participants from several national and international companies, universities and research centers (Algeria Smart Grid, Unipower, CDER-Bouzarea, UDES, Sonelgaz: OS, CREDEG and SKTM, CREG, EMP, ENP and Universities).
