The Renewable Energy Development Center participated in the 13th edition of the International Fair of Equipment, Technologies and Services for the Management of Water and the Environment, "SIEE Pollutec 2017", organized by Symbiose-Communication-Environnement, under The patronage of the Ministry of Water Resources and Environment, from 13 to 16 February 2017 at the exhibition center, Safex, Algiers.

This 4-day event was an occasion to assess the level of development in the field of water resources and the environment as well as to give the Algerian and foreign experts the opportunity to present the new techniques in the field of water And the environment. The international exhibition is an opportunity to inquire about the latest developments in this sector throughout the world and to discover the latest innovations in the field of production and manufacturing of specific equipment to the sector.

SIEE Pollutec 2017 was attended by more than 270 exhibitors from 17 countries, including producers, distributors of equipment and service providers in the fields of water treatment, water distribution, Treatments of industrial pollutants, analysis and control of water quality and treatment of waste.

The official inauguration of this fair was given by the Minister of Water Resources and Environment, Mr OUALI Abdelkader in the presence of the Wali of Algiers, Mr Zoukh Abdelkader and the directors of companies.

The CDER participated actively in the 13th edition of the fair by exhibiting its various activities in the field of water treatment and the environment, and presenting prototypes, namely:

• Energy valuation of organic waste,
• Heterogeneous photoreactor,
• Application of chitosan for water depollution,
• Solar dryer,
• Air Pollutants Measurement Station.
