The Algerian Minister Council has just adopted a new programme for national energy efficiency. By 2030, this programme should allow to Algeria to save 63 million of tones of oil equivalent (Tep), representing a financial savinf of 42 billion of dollars. This programme, which will be launched in 2016, spreads over the industrial sector, transportation and housing. In building, the programme forecasts thermal insulation of 100.000 houses per year, with the committment of the state to cover 80 % of the additional costs linked to this operation...
