Project: Design and implementation of a platform for performance testing of a solar water heater

Abstract:
This platform is constituted by a plurality of test benches for thermal reliability and performance of flat solar collectors. Each bench is realized according to international standards EN 12975-2 -2006, equivalent to the ISO standard from 9806-2013.
Different tests also help to assist national industry to develop of solar water heaters to develop products which shall comply with standards and therefore lead to certification and product registration.

Objectives: The main expected objectives from this project are :

  • Adaptation of international standards in the Algerian context;
  • Master of testing techniques according patterns;
  • Acquisition and strengthening of our experience in the field of precision measurement and regulation;
  • Contribution to the development of the national economy and protection of the national market
