Three patents of test bench for solar water-heaters filed at the INAPI
The Renewable Energy Development Center filed registered three patents concerning three innovations of researchers and staff of the Solar Thermal and Geothermal Division.
These innovations allowed to the CDER to set an accreditation facility for solar water-heater in Algeria. This laboratory which is ongoing for accreditation by enabled bodies will provide a quality control for solar water-heater made in Algeria or imported and ensure products of good quality for the Algerian consumers that respond to performance and security issues.

Test bench for solar cells glazed plans waterproofness (thermal and photovoltaic)
Under the national programme for energy amster which initiates, particularly, manufacturing of solar water-heaters and PV modules prototypes of local production, it is essential to respect usage and quality requirements listed in stadards (NF EN 12975-2 equivalent to ISO 9806-2 and NF CEI 61215) relative to prototypes named above.
In this purpose, it is thus very important to conceive and realize systems such as, the test bench for solar cells glazed plans waterproofness (thermal and photovoltaic) in which fetures are up to process targated tests.

Multifunction test bench for test on internal pressure of the absorber, of resistance test to high temperatures, of the internal thermal shock and the test of external thermal shock of solar cells glazed plans with liquid flow (solar water-heaters).
The present intervetion concerns the multifunction test bench mduled and practical making possible a progressive diversification of tests on solar sensors glazed plans with liquid flow (solar water-heaters). It realizes concretely these tests which allow to estimate the capacities of a thermal solar cell glazed plans with liquid flow and to approve this capacity to resist the effect of degradant agents without presenting of failure.
Indeed, an ingenious system has been designed and realized offering a technical solution with the advantage and the capacity of integrating , simultaneously or separately, various tests such as : the absorber internal pressure test, high temperature resistance test, internal thermal shock test and external thermal shock test.

Mechanical shock resistance bench test of the transparent cover of the solar cells glazed plans (thermal and photovoltaic)
The present invention is a test bench for mechnical shock resistance of the transparent cover of solar cells glazed plans (thermal and photovoltaic). This test bench ensures mainly the evaluation of machanical characteristics of the transparent cover. That means that there are different natures or colours of glazing according to European standards NF EN 12975-2 equivalent to ISO 9806-2 and NF CEI 61215. to consecutive evolutions which could occure at the end of a battery of testing (mechanical shocks) on the transparent cover will define the reliability of this one.
These tests are realized by focusing on different points on the transparent cover of the solar cell glazed plan (thermal and photovoltaic) in a way to conclude and come up with the level of their resistance under the effect of important shocks provoked by a system providing the automatic launching of a steel ball, from different heights well determined.
