Abstract

The aim of this paper is to simulate the behavior of a partially shaded PV module based on the model of Bishop that we implemented in Matlab / Simulink. We have treated the case of a monocrystalline silicon PV module to study the effect of shading rate and the number of shaded cells when the bypass diodes are connected or disconnected.
