UDES : Solar Equipment Development Unit

The Solar Equipment Development Unit (UDES, Bou Ismail, Tipaza), affiliated to CDER, was created by decree N 008 ˚ January 9 , 1988 by the Presidency of the Republic (Official Gazette N 06 ˚ February 10, 1988). The principal missions of The Development Unit of Solar Equipment are:

  • Design and optimization of renewable energies for the production of heat, electricity, cold and water treatment; Implement studies and research development of technological processes prototyping and pilot production;
  • Realize technical-economic and engineering studies to set pilot installations to insure the transfer and the master of new technologies;
  • Define characterization techniques, tests, quality control and compliance to insure qualification, approval and certification of developed equipments.
