As part of the consultations undertaken with the science and technical, Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MPRH), Mr. Sid Ahmed Ferroukhi, received Thursday in Algiers, the Director of the Center for Renewable Energy Development (CDER), Yassaa Noureddine, director of CDER.

Several executives MPRH, CDER, the National Centre for Research and Development of Fisheries and Aquaculture (CNRDPA) and the National Control Laboratory and Product Analysis of Fisheries and Aquaculture and the Safe environments (LNCAPPASM) took part in this meeting.

The purpose of the meeting was to set the groundwork for the development of sustainable cooperation in research and development in areas of common interest between renewable energy and fisheries and fishery resources.

Following this consultation a number of recommendations were made including:

Organizing a day of networking between CDER researchers , and the CNRDPA LNCAPPASM. The objective of this day will be the identification of areas of common interest (2015-2019 Programme) and the establishment of working groups to search opportunities for collaboration and the definition of research projects.

Mounting realistic and innovative projects which should lead to operational pilot plants. The process of implementation of these projects will be adapted to the human, social, cultural, economic and technological conditions to ensure the best possible impact (accompaniment, real integration, technological expertise, training and transfer of know-how ..).

Deploying a common platform for data observation . The indicators should allow a better understanding of the aquatic environment, its evolution and impacts on the environment. The monitoring system must provide enough reliable data to enhance knowledge of the aquatic environment and ensure the independence of studies and analyzes.
