Participation of the CDER at the International Exhibition of Recovery and Valorization of Waste "REVADE 2017"
The Renewable Energies Development Center participated in the second edition of the international exhibition of waste recovery and valorization "REVADE", organized by the Algerian Chamber of Trade and Industry (CACI) in collaboration with the National Agency of Waste (AND) from 09 to 12 October 2017 at the exhibition center, Pin Maritimes, Algiers. This edition was dedicated to the collection, sorting, transport and treatment of waste.
The main objective of this event is to publicize the equipment and technologies used in the field of waste processing and recycling, promote the waste recovery and recycling industry by encouraging investment and the creating of new businesses and develop the management and recovery of different types of waste.
The official opening of this 2nd edition was given by Mrs. Fatima Zahra Zerouati, Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy in the presence of his Excellency Park Sang-Jin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Algeria, officials of the CACI, AND and the local communities, followed by a visit of the stands.
The REVADE exhibition was attended by more than 40 active exhibitors in the field of collection, processing and waste management, including South Korea which was the guest of honor through by the participation of the Korean Institute of Technology and Environmental Industry - KEITI which brought together at least 30 Korean companies.
The CDER participated actively in this event through a stand in which he exposed its various activities and prototypes in the field of the environment namely:
an autonomous device for the production of biodiesel operating on renewable energies (from used oils),
An anaerobic digester for the production of biogas from fermentable organic waste,
A solar photoreactor for the treatment of sewage autonomous in energy.
A banner on the bioenergy field in Algeria,
A banner on the treatment of wastewater using biodegradable products (chitosan),
A banner on the different ways of recovering organic waste for the production of bio-alcohol and biodiesel.
At the end of this meeting, several debates and round tables took place and dealt with the following topics: the national policy on waste management, the investment in the field of waste management and international cooperation projects in the waste management sector.
