The CDER at Expo-Madina on Sustainable Development
The Ranewable Energy Development Center (CDER) participated at the Expo-Madina organized in collaboration with Génie-Vert-Energie experts on 26 and 27 November 2016 at the Ouasis Hotel in Hussein Dey, Algiers.
The event was attended by Algerian and foreign experts and researchers of different specialties, Particularly renewable energy and sustainable development.
This meeting was an opportunity for national and international partnerships between Algerian and foreign companies and institutions in three strategic areas: Town Planning and Construction, Clean Energy and Agri-Food.
The opening speech was given by Mr Karim YOUNES former Minister of professional Training and President of the People’s National Assembly and Professor Noureddine Yassaa, Director of the CDER and representative for this event of the Professor Hafid AOURAG, Managing Director of Scientific Research and Technological Development (DGRSDT).
During two days, professors and researchers animated more than twenty conferences with rich debates on sustainable development and the solutions to be developed toward to environmental challenges.
The CDER participated actively at the Expo-Madina with a conference given by the Dr Khaled IMESSAD, Director of Thermal and Thermodynamics Solar and Geothermal Division at CDER, intitled « Renewable energies and energy efficiency at the heart of Algeria’s energy transition policy ».
The CDER also participated in this event with an exhibition stand through which it presented its research activities such as software developed in the field of renewable energies such as the Application Software of the Algerian Thermal Regulation (RETA) and the Application Software for Solar Radiation.
